The Vet Collective offers a range of veterinary services, including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry. We also have access to multiple visiting veterinary specialists, including an orthopaedic surgeon, cardiologist and ultrasonographer. We are also home to The Vet Behaviour Clinic.
It is best to call the clinic to make an appointment to ensure that we can provide the best possible care for your pet.
If you’re concerned, we’re concerned too! We’d love to see you and your furry friend so we can give them a thorough check-up and give you some peace of mind.

In the event of an emergency, we will do our absolute best to accommodate these as walk-in appointments.
At The Vet Collective, your pet's emotional wellbeing is just as important to us as their physical health. Our team uses Fear Free principles throughout the clinic, with an emphasis on gentle handling, low-stress interactions and creating positive experiences wherever possible.
We take the time to understand your pet as an individual and adapt our approach to suit their needs.
Fear Free veterinary care focuses on reducing fear, anxiety and stress during your pet's visit. Rather than simply getting through an examination or procedure, we consider how your pet is feeling and use gentle handling, positive reinforcement and individualised approaches to create a more positive experience.
Absolutely! We regularly work with pets who are nervous, fearful or anxious about veterinary visits. Fear and anxiety can sometimes cause pets to growl, snap, bite, freeze or try to escape. These behaviours are often a form of communication and can tell us that your pet is uncomfortable or overwhelmed.
We can adapt the way we approach, handle and examine your pet and create an individual plan to make their experience more positive. Depending on your pet's needs, this may include shorter visits, positive introductions to the clinic, cooperative care training or pre-visit medication.
Please let our team know about any concerns when booking your appointment. We will never judge you or your pet!
It's never too late to start creating better experiences for your pet!
Absolutely! Introducing your pet to our team and clinic when there is no pressure for veterinary care can help build a positive association. This can in turn make future visits more comfortable and positive. Don’t worry, we also have a large variety of treats!
If you’d like to stop by, please give the clinic a call and we can discuss the quietest time to pop down.
Absolutely! Wherever possible, we encourage you to stay with your pet during their appointment or prior to their procedure or surgery while they are being sedated.
Having their trusted person nearby can help many pets feel more comfortable and secure. We also value having you involved in your pet's care and can show you techniques that may help make handling and veterinary care easier at home.
Yes, you can! We have a fully enclosed, Colorbond-fenced outdoor area where we can accommodate consultations. This is a fantastic option for pets who are more nervous or anxious about coming inside and would prefer a nice breeze and a little extra vitamin D.
We would love to hear from you!
